Job description: The Treasury team, led by the Treasury Manager, is trusted upon by senior leadership to provide key strategic, financial and operational information that is critical to our financial strength.
Treasury is part of a 40-member Finance organization, also including Accounting, FP&A, Program Office Finance and Government Compliance.


The Treasury Manager, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, will provide leadership for key business operations and oversight of the financial assets.
He/she will
have responsibility for monitoring various investment portfolios, developing capital structure and risk management models and related insurance coverage, coordinating debt administration and compliance, managing cash balances, and maintaining all related internal, external, and regulatory reporting.
The Treasury
Manager will provide direct supervision and management of one direct report (Treasury Analyst).

This role requires outstanding analytical skills, attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills.
Also required is frequent collaboration with
internal partners and external service providers (e.g., custodians, banks, investment managers).

Essential Functions:
Manage the Treasury function. Provide direct supervision and management of one Treasury Analyst, as well as others, including third parties, that may support Treasury projects from time to time
Work closely with investment managers on strategies and analysis to ensure the assets in the investment portfolios (corporate investments, pension plans, post-retiree medical plan) are managed in accordance with their respective investment policies. Monitor and evaluate performance and due diligence activities related to the various portfolios
Lead the corporate insurance program, working with business areas, executive management and insurance brokers/underwriters on insurance coverages, policy applications, renewals, claims and certificate needs
Oversee cash flow projections and cash management to ensure daily liquidity, line-of-credit management and cash account administration
Serve as liaison with key external providers for the Treasury area, including the retirement plan administrator, outsourced chief investment officer, actuarial firm, insurance providers, external legal counsel, banking institutions, debt providers and rating agencies
Support the Retirement Plan Oversight Group (RPOG) and interface with Drapers Human Resources, Internal Audit, Accounting and Legal teams to develop, document, and execute deliverables and maintain controls over treasury processes
Handle all internal and external audit requests and required documentation related to pensions, investments and debt
Ensure compliance with the annual Treasury calendar deliverables
Lead preparation and coordinate presentations to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors on investments, retirement plan financials, and other Treasury topics as warranted
Enhance and maintain procedures and documentation for key Treasury functions
Perform other ad hoc projects and analyses as required or requested

Qualifications:

Highly effective written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams Intermediate experience in project management (e.g., planning, organizing, and executing assignments to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives) Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and meet deadlines Excellent management skills and ability to mentor, motivate and develop staff Advanced finance modeling skills; deep knowledge of corporate finance theory and practices Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
Minimum required experience:

Candidate should have a minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience, including a strong background and demonstrated advancement in accounting, finance and/or treasury Bachelors degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent, required; advanced degree (MBA or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance), preferred Treasury certification, familiarity with government contracting and/or investment portfolio reporting, also helpful Qualifications:
