Your work will have a real-world impact. Youll see ideas become a reality as you create prototypes through our clients rapid approach to design and implementation. Its a fantastically challenging, varied, and agile role.
Every day, you will be operating at the boundary of technological exploration by inventing new solutions and enhancing existing hardware. Typically, this will involve analysis, computational modelling, prototype design, invention, laboratory testing, process development, and manufacturing.
Your problem-solving skills will be enhanced as you tackle complex electronic engineering challenges that test your deep understanding of engineering fundamentals and physical principles beyond pure electronics.
Requirements:
The projects cover areas such as:
high-speed digital electronic design,
FPGA firmware (i.e. VHDL/Verilog),
RF and microwave electronics,
antennas,
power electronics,
analogue electronics,
algorithm development,
and PCB technologies.
Ideally, you will have notable experience in two or more of the above areas. You will have a track record of academic excellence, hold a relevant degree, and have proven technical capabilities including the design and development of technology solutions.
They are keen to hear from Electronics Engineers with experience in any sector. Previous or current experience in the defence industry is desirable but not essential.
