JOB TITLE: CORPORATE USED EQUIPMENT MANAGER
***EMPLOYER WILL BE COMPETITIVE ON BASE SALARY; TO $120,000.00, AND POSSIBLY HIGHER, FOR THE IDEAL INDIVIDUAL***

This employer is seeking a Corporate Used Equipment Manager for a progressive Midwestern Farm Equipment dealership. This is a high, value-added business partner role for our client whose primary responsibility will be to assist the Whole Goods Sales Director in driving operational excellence for Used Equipment Sales and associated metrics. This individual will provide effective methodologies, efficient processes, value-added information and sales tools to increase inventory turn which increases sales and, in turn, drives revenue growth. This role will mainly be a remote position servicing all dealership stores. Some Essential Duties to include:

- Developing systems to remain aligned with goals and responsibilities of the Sales Team
- Partnering with General Manager and Sales Managers to work together to ensure Used Equipment levels are appropriate based on category and current market conditions
- Implementing routinely scheduled training/development of new Sales Representatives
- Developing a plan to continuously review Used Farm Equipment inventory to ensure availability
- Working with Sales Team on pre-sale of trades
- Developing strong relationships with other dealers and wholesale buyers and auction companies to partner in equipment trades and purchases and engage in off-site buying opportunities
- Lead and implementing ongoing development of the internal Trade Appraisal Team and processes
- Develop the future of how equipment is evaluated
- Implement a plan to visit each location every quarter to review equipment conditions and support General Managers with coaching their Sales Team on how to leverage reporting tools to increase sales
- Develop a reconditioning program for Service Managers and Sales Team to be reviewed quarterly

Qualifications:

- 4-Year Technical or Business-related degree
- Financial management experience with data-driven, analytical, and problem-solving skill set
- Experience developing high-level sales strategies, translating them into systems and process requirements, and ensuring execution and business impact
- Proven experience purchasing and selling Used Farm Equipment
- Ability to formulate and follow a one-year business plan as well as an eye to the future to grow business
- Current or previous role at a farm equipment dealership highly beneficial
- Strong business acumen with high integrity leadership skills involving a results-driven, assertive and persevering mindset
- Ability to train up the sales team so that they may sell the right mix of equipment successfully
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook as well as strong communication skills
- Willingness to travel to 25% with provided vehicle; some overnight stays with expenses paid
