Irrigation Service Technician (DC-10190)

Job description:

This employer is seeking an Irrigation Service Technician for a long-time employer/client. The primary role of this Technician will be to install and maintain center pivot irrigation equipment on-site. Additional duties to include:
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing pivots
- Welding pipes and mainlines as necessary
- Ensuring all repair orders are reviewed, finalized, and forwarded to correct company personnel
- Keeping accurate timekeeping for all repair orders
- Participating in all required training programs for continued development

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree preferred but not required; employer will consider training an experienced farm individual
- Good knowledge/understanding of the diagnostics for repairing center pivot equipment such as Reinke, T-L,Valley, Zimmatic and more
- Proven knowledge/understanding of irrigation systems components including electrical center pivot systems, pumps, pipelines, flow meters, air vents, valves, etc.
- Self-directed with ability to work independently on-site
- Ability to safely operate company vehicle
