Herd Manager (KH-10072)

Job description:

A large dairy operation located in Wisconsin is searching for a hands-on Herd Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the herd and crew. The Herd Manager is responsible for keeping the crew motivated and productive and ensure protocols and procedures are followed, and daily tasks are being completed in a timely manner. Successful candidate must have strong AI breeding and Herd Health experience and have the ability to spot, diagnose, and treat sick animals. This position will work with veterinarian, nutritionist, and vendors. Other responsibilities include recording keeping, inventory, and ordering supplies. Prefer someone with fresh cow and parlor experience. Ability to speak Dairy Spanish is a plus. Dairy uses Dairy Comp and EZ Feed.
