Assistant Manager (KH-10074)

Job description:

A large dairy operation located in Texas is searching for a well qualified, hands-on Assistant Manager to oversee the calf raising facility. The employer is searching for someone with experience working with calves. Will be responsible for supervising 15 employees. Will ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner and protocols and procedures are followed. Must have strong herd health skills and be able to spot diagnose and treat sick calves and also have an understanding of nutrition. Will work with the Veterinarian and Nutritionist. Also, will be responsible for inventory and ordering supplies. Computer experience with Dairy Comp 305 preferred. Will be responsible for some data entry and be able to run reports for review. Breeding experience is a plus. Must be able to speak Dairy Spanish.
