Herd Manager (KH-10271)

Job description:

A mid-size dairy located in Texas is searching for an experienced Herd Manager. This position will oversee the day to day operations of the dairy, to include, but not limited to, parlor management, supervision of employees, ensuring protocols are followed and tasks are completed in a timely manner, keeping accurate records of animals and inventory, and ordering feed and other dairy supplies. The Herd Manager will take over the Herdsman's duties on their day off. Must have strong experience with herd health and AI breeding. Must also be well organized and have excellent communication skills. Knowledgeable in dairy nutrition is a plus.
