ABOUT EMPLOYER/LOCATION: This is a well-established Agricultural Retailer located in the state of Montana offering products and services within the Agronomy, Energy and Grain industries. Employer offers competitive base salary and excellent benefits package. Location includes a Fertilizer Plant, small Farm/C-Store, and Tire Shop and has a loyal customer patronage. Located within a 30-minute drive of a larger city offering major shopping, restaurants, cultural events and recreational activities, this is a beautiful area of the country.

This employer is seeking a Location Manager for a well-established Agronomy facility located in Montana. This Lead By Example Manager will oversee the daily operations and personnel for this location. Primary duties to include:
- Implementing / maintaining positive relationships with personnel, customer-growers, vendors and entire community
- Supervising, planning, coordinating and directing location personnel
- Hiring/firing/training personnel while providing discipline, performance evaluations and support
- Implementing/promoting/selling/supporting an entire crop production cycle with respect to Ag chemicals, crop nutrients, seed and services
- Developing/implementing sound marketing plans and sales programs for customer-growers
- Assisting in competitive market analysis to maintain margins for the organization to include, but is not limited to, retail and service pricing
- Implementing efficient reporting and inventory control programs
- Maintaining a high level of product, merchandise, promotions, and advertisement knowledge
- Responding to and initiating necessary sales communications in a timely and efficient manner
- Staying in communication with lead Management Team members to provide timely feedback and reports
- Always practicing/encouraging workplace safety while holding location personnel accountable to safety procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

- High School diploma or GED with minimum 5 years Agronomy experience; Agronomy degree a PLUS
- Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience in a Retail Store Sales environment a MUST
- Ability to make customer recommendations on Ag chemicals, fertilizer and seed
- Experience making crop input recommendations with spring or winter wheat crop a PLUS
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead by example, holding personnel accountable and jumping in to assist as necessary at the c-store, tire shop or fertilizer plant
