Ag Sales (DC-10141)

Job description:

This employer is assisting an established Ag Business located southwest of Lincoln looking to hire an Ag Salesperson to sell precision planting systems and agronomic services to an established list of customers in a 30 mile radius of their operation. Primary duties to include selling/servicing precision planting equipment, selling agronomic services, assisting customers to diagnose mechanical issues over the phone and in the field, utilizing problem-solving skills, taking soil samples for customers in the Fall and calibrating planter meters in the shop during Winter months.

ABOUT EMPLOYER:Employer is an established Family-Owned Ag Business selling premier precision planting systems, Ag chemicals, seed and agronomic services within the portion of Nebraska. This employee- and customer-focused employer offers a starting salary range of $40,000 - $60,000, depending on experience, plus realistic Year 1 commissions of $10,000 increasing to $30,000 by Year 3 and nice benefits package including a company vehicle.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2- or 4-year Agronomy-related degree preferred
- Ag background and mechanically apt is a MUST
- Ag internships or Ag-related employment preferred
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Strong computer/technology experience and solid phone skills
- Self-Directed and always looking to learn new things
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Valid driver license with clean driving record
- Preference for individual with ties to Nebraska or Northern Kansas
