Great opportunity to join an expanding Global Leader as the Plant Reliability Engineer, to provide strategic maintenance support and project management services to produce high quality products. Requires extensive background with maintaining industrial equipment such as heat exchangers, mixers, extruders, vessels, piping systems, centrifugal and gear pumps, gear boxes, electrical motors and drives, controls and instrumentation. Responsibilities:

--Develop and implement Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Plan (PPM), in cooperation with maintenance management and continuously optimize the PPM to achieve maximum availability of the plant against the lowest cost.
--Responsible for electrical and instrumentation components, review specifications of equipment and spare parts and recommend replacement for obsolete parts, following change control.
--Lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) for equipment failures and initiate equipment or procedural changes to correct the problem.
--Develop plans to improve efficiencies, process times, reduce labor and material costs, reduce maintenance costs and controll expense budgets.
--Maintain compliance with environmental programs. Promote waste reduction and recovery projects, incorporate associated operations in applicable manufacturing processes
--Interact with Maintenance and Technicians on a regular basis to ensure effective communication of production and compliance related changes in procedures. Conduct formalized training for operative/craft personnel as necessary.
--Utilize and maintain SAP Plant Maintenance System and authorize to approve work permits.


Qualifications:

--BS Mechanical Engineering degree with 5+ years experience in Maintenance/ Reliability Engineering in manufacturing plants (prefer cGMP, FDA, Clean Room industries)
--Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
--Experienced with cross-disciplined engineering projects including mechanical, chemical, electrical, and civil.
--Experience with predictive maintenance; vibration analysis, Thermography, oil analysis, ultrasonic leak detection, motor circuit analysis.
