Position: Electrical Engineer (Construction) St Louis, MO
M. Systems, Inc. Is looking to hire a Licensed Electrical Engineer to be critical team member of our
proven architect-engineering team. The ideal candidate will provide construction management services
to support our USACE controlled project. The incumbent will as an Electrical Engineer specializing in
Information Communication Technology (ICT) including but not limited to low voltage, IT, and
networking. This is a full-time on-site position in St Louis, MO.
Specifically, the incumbent will to provide electrical specialty engineering (ICT) support for design and
construction phase services to assist in the accomplishment of all construction contracts related to
program. They will serve as an on-site, licensed, electrical engineer performing review of submittals,
RFIs, shop drawings, and other documents associated with the program, and performs routinely
scheduled inspections in the field

Duties & Responsibilities:
Review N2W Design Build (DB) Contract Request for Proposal with special attention to electrical
Review the completed and in-progress design packages drawings and specifications design
bulletins to familiarize with and assess electrical information communication technology scope,
issues, and potential problems and subsequent resolutions.
Attend and participate in multiple meetings, including but not limited to the weekly Government
electrical discipline team meeting, weekly QA/QC meeting, weekly discipline team huddle with the
contractor, amongst others to ensure that contractors construction work and workmanship are
Perform daily quality assurance (QA) site visits, both individually and with other members of the
Government QA team. Assess the construction contractors quality, work progress, and
workmanship are in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications. Document
deficiencies and outline observations in the field, including a detailed description of construction
witnessed during the visit, deficiencies, tests performed, equipment and laborers observed, and
any safety violations.
Review all RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and as-builts sent by the construction contractor to the
clients electrical discipline team. No Sponsorship
Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies that could affect major milestones. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders. Review the DB contractors monthly schedule, and provide comments on risks, concerns, feasibility, logic, and sequencing of contractors work with a focus on the electrical scope of work. Monitor progress and compile reports in project status. Assist Government office engineers in the Contract Administration Section in reviewing contractors proposals for contract modifications or Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs) that involve electrical ICT work, determining technical merit and whether submitted costs are reasonable Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety, etc., and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required. Qualifications: Four-year college degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering 10 years of demonstrated experience on large-scale, complex federal construction projects specifically USACE controlled projects. Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) designation with RCDD certification Proficient with AutoCAD, ability to review design drawings Experience with information communication technology (CIT) construction design Ability to read and interpret construction documents Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word and other Microsoft applications Excellent communication skills US Citizenship is Required A Plus: Experience with USACE, AFCEE, NAVFAC or DOE construction programsWhy is This a Great Opportunity:
