Develop and maintain strong collaborative internal and external (clients & subcontractors) relationships
Provide oversight and monitoring of projects
Coordinate work efforts and review work performed by other team members
Prepare task orders and proposals including scope of work, cost/fee estimates, presentations, etc.
Knowledge of applications for automation, scripting, and programming
Investigate potential sites including existing infrastructure, soils, and vegetation; including required in-state travel on occasion
Interpret geotechnical data obtained from borings, frozen soils, and pothole investigations
Design building sites and transportation networks in arctic locations to accommodate work force and vehicles
Analysis of storm water, drinking water, wastewater, solid waste, and hazardous material impact on design.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited university (Master's preferred)
Professional Registration (P.E.) in the state of Alaska or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
5-8 years of experience with increasing levels of responsibility
Autodesk, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D or similar software experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and writing communication skills
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability/willingness to travel (occasional, in-state)
