Country Finance Director

Job description:

Country Finance Director

This role requires a leader with a strong finance and accounting
background including taxation and treasury to lead the Finance team and
transform the finance processes and procedures. This position is based
in Indonesia and has a matrix reporting to the CEO based in Indonesia
and the Group Chief Financial Officer based in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure financial
compliance, develop finance strategies and provide sound advice to
senior management on all Finance related matters for the Indonesia
business. The Country Finance Director will ensure that all finance
matters and operations are carried out smoothly, effectively and
efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Lead, direct and develop the Indonesia finance and accounting team

- Manage the Indonesias finance, tax compliance, treasury and risk
management and budget reporting

- Develop, implement and enforce appropriate finance policies and
procedures for effective control and governance

- Maintain knowledge of Indonesia Regulations impacting on finance,
accounting, treasury and taxation

- Prepare and analyse financial metrics and provide advice to
management

- Ensure compliance with Country, Province and local regulations and
programs

- Evaluate and advice the long-term and short-term impact of new
initiatives, business plans and regulatory action

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and professional qualification eg
ACCA, CPA or CA

- 15 - 20 years of professional relevant experience, of which at least
10 years heading the Finance and Accounting portfolio in a
medium-size organization

- Well-rounded experience across the full finance scope such as
accounting, audit, compliance, governance, treasury and taxation

- A leader with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to
collaborate

- Creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment

- Strong analytical, conceptual and organizational skills

- Able to view the big picture with a good grasp for details

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Familiar with Indonesian accounting and tax regulations an added
advantage

Qualifications:

Bsc Degree in Accounting & Professional qualification eg in ACCA / CPA / CA

10 years in heading the Finance & Accounting in a medium size organizaton
