We are seeking an Automation Paint Engineer for a top-ranking supplier and manufacturer of automotive components that has been voted by Forbes as one of the best large employers in the US!

Summary

Our client is in search of an accomplished Automation Paint Engineer to drive innovation and efficiency within their paint systems. With a minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in metal paint applications along with a strong grasp of automation/robotics for paint sprayers, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing tools and strategies aimed at enhancing system performance, quality, and overall efficiency. Leading troubleshooting efforts, programming paint robots, and overseeing a team of Robot Technicians will be central to your responsibilities.

This position will allow you to showcase your technical acumen while playing a substantial role in fostering an environment of continuous improvement. Collaborating across departments, you will facilitate effective communication, introduce best practices, and make a tangible impact on the journey toward operational excellence

Qualifications:

A degree is preferred but will look at on the job experience

Previous experience with paint on metal parts 3 + Years

Knowledge of paint chemistry but not mandatory

Robotics experience
