Commercial Loan Officer/Business Banker

Job description:

The Commercial Loan Officer will be calling on companies of any size in Williamsburg, Newport News and Hampton or what is referred to locally as the "Peninsula Market." Both C&I lending to operating companies and alsoCRE lending. Need isfor a full service RM to work deals from cradle to grave. Basic credit skills are required although you don't have to be an underwriter. The more credit knowledge the better so that the RM can present a strong argument and defend deals to the Regional Credit Officer and Managment or Executive LoanCommittee. Knowldege of the local market, established COIs and network are required.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years on the line as a Commercial Loan Officer or Business Banker. Local market knowledge required. Credit skills required to enable the RM to structure deals and defend deals in commiittee but this RM will have plenty of assistance from the credit dept. collecting financials and doing spreads, analysis and underwriting.
