Senior Commercial Loan Officer

Job description:

The Commercial Loan Officer will need to have local experience in the Montgomery County and surrounding areas of Maryland and Washington DC. Focus will be on C&I not CRE. Build, develop and manage new and existing client relationships. Coordinate loan, deposit and fee income products and services appropriate to the needs of the client. Ideal candidate would be mid to senior level and be capable of building and managing a team.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a BS, at least 10 years on the line. Credit skills and knowledge of the Maryland/Washington DC market. Ability and experience sourcing credit opportunies, negotiatiating mutually agreeable terms, navigating the credit underwriting and approval process, documenting the loan and executing the closing.

The Sr. Commercial RM could be hired as a Market Executive if the candidate has the skills and experience desired. This person will be joining a bank that is looking to grow organically and they have a preference for C&I deals which can and will include A/R lending to Government Contractors. Desire is for Business Banking to Middle Market segment experience. Client size between $1mm and $50mm in revenues. This is an production role that will lead to a producing manager role. The candidate will need credit skills but credit and underwriting will provide as much support as needed.
