Growing Division of a $2B Global Manufacturing Company seeking talented Mechanical Service Technician for their growing operation. This is a new position due to their growth! This position will be remote, and the person will travel to the customer sites to service, troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and perform retrofits to existing automated equipment, robotic work cells, pneumatic hardware and other components with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.   • Certificate in machining/toolmaking or equivalent work history, 5+ years experience working as a fine tune machine assembler, or service technician for automation assembly machines.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical/biotechnology automated equipment operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of cam operated equipment, inspection and measuring tools such as indicators, calipers, micometers, multi-meters, dB meters, etc.
  • Working knowledge of 24 v sensors and pneumatics, computers, e-drawings, Word, IMA databases, etc.
  • Must have strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to travel 75-100% of the timewhere needed domestically and internationally. Remote role.
  • Compensation: $30-35/hr, overtime, 25% overtime, vacation, and good benefits.
