Compensation Data Analyst Lehi, Utah

Our Client is seeking an experienced Compensation Data Analyst. In this role, you will serve as a member of the Global Total Rewards Team. Your duties include the implementation and administration of total rewards programs and project management of key strategic compensation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, handle sensitive information, make sound business decisions, influence business leaders, manage details, and deliver results on a company-wide scale.

About our group:

  • Research, analyze and present information to identify and respond to compensation issues
  • Develop, plan, and implement changes to compensation programs and processes
  • Perform research and information analysis in global environment to identify issues and opportunities for solutions which have significant impact to our Client.
  • Work with HR Business Partners and management to assess competitive labor market issues and trends
  • Conduct job evaluations, job classifications, market analysis and global compensation program development
  • Develop cost models
  • Prepare policies and procedures to implement effective and competitive compensation
  • Independently define and determine the approach to assigned problems
  • Prepare written communications and presentations to management, employees, and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for identifying and evaluating different approaches to define and resolve issues
  • HRIS and other compensation systems, e.g. auditing information related to salary; FLSA; titles; frameworks; salary ranges; job profiles; job families; EEO job category
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested
  • Prepare proposals to resolve current or emerging compensation issues
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests for analysis and program development
  • Provide multi-site compensation consultant support

About our group:

  • Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience- Data Analytics
  • High level of attention to detail ensure the integrity/accuracy of data
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment and issues impacting compensation
  • Understanding of accounting and financial terms and concepts
  • Demonstrated data analytical skills in problem definition and solution development
  • Your experience includes:
  • Performing complex market analysis, job classification, compensation program and process development
  • Expert level user of Microsoft Excel and modeling with large and complex data sets, Microsoft Access a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of labor market economics and analysis of competitive compensation practices
  • Facilitating legal and compliance initiatives
  • Development and implementation of complex changes to HR processes in a large organization
  • Excellent skills in developing and presenting communications of HR programs
  • Prior experience handling sensitive and confidential materials
  • HRIS systems
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one data visualization tool (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) and working proficiency in SQL
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e., index match, VBA, macros, functions such as goal seek, automated error-checking, joining multiple workbooks, etc.)
  • Experience creating presentations, making recommendations, and communicating complex data in a simple, actionable ways to leaders and other stakeholders
  • Strong personal commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Advanced degree in business, statistics, human resources, computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Experience in commission compensation data analysis preferable in a direct marketing company
  • Experience in a broad swath of prior human resources roles (e.g., prior experience with HRBP responsibilities, full-cycle recruiting, people operations, etc.)
  • Experience with data analysis, reports, and dashboards in for ATS systems
  • Exceptional data visualization skills, including demonstrated proficiency in creating compelling, data-driven narratives and presentations for a variety of stakeholders
  • Comfort and confidence in statistical analysis (i.e., using Python, R, STATA, etc.) and regression analyses

You might also have:

Project planning/management experience in complex global organization

CCP certification preferred

LTI (Long Term Incentive Plan) Equity experience

Travel: 10%
