COO: Chief Operating Officer

Company accelerates the transition from fossil fuel to hybrid to fully electrified homes by decentralizing power and makes it easier to live a renewables life by orchestrating and automating power use during renewable energy cycles.

Experienced, masterful and visionary COO who believes in renewable energy and our companys product offerings. The COO spearheads and oversees manufacturing operations, processes and ensures a world class customer experience. Reports to the CEO, optimizes our company operating capabilities, employs strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, manages manufacturing operations and teams up with management and business leaders to implement long-term business strategies and best practices.

To ensure success you should have a clear understanding of our companys core values, mission and culture. Top candidates will be exemplary leaders, have superb business acumen, experience working in start-up environments and have a sound understanding of business strategies, especially as it relates to manufacturing operations, supply chain and customer success.

Responsibilities

As COO, you will be responsible to direct multi-product manufacturing and assembly on one line, spearhead large-scale organizational rapid growth, lead strategic initiatives and implement, communicate and support strategies created by the CEO and other senior executives. This role will own:Supply chain,Sourcing,QA,Customer Support,Manufacturing,Facilities & Equipment,Safety, andAssembly Line.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience in related field and professional background
  • Live in Utah or willing to relocate. No remote or commute to Utah.
  • BS in Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive Engineer, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Manufacturing Lean Six Sigma Certification

Experience Youll Need

  • Senior operational experience with strong desire to join senior management team and quickly grow a company dedicated to creating renewable energy solutions
  • Design large, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility
  • Proficient and experienced in running complex manufacturing ops
  • Create, staff and manage scalable manufacturing operations using CNC, laser and mechanical equipment
  • Experience building multi-million dollar state-of-the-art manufacturing operation to scale, support and meet explosive consumer demand globally
  • Understand and share vision to get multiple products to market that are reliable, scalable and secure
  • Demonstrated experience of ethical and inclusive leadership; success building culture-centric teams
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance in previous roles
  • Superb verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
  • Subject matter expert in related fields (i.e. manufacturing ops, supply chain, budgeting, operational excellence, installation, customer service and support)
  • Previous iOT, hardware, software and firmware knowledge
  • Ability to make business projections three years into the future
  • Experience managing multiple complex budgets
