Review work schedules and available job plans for completeness and correctness

Provide advice to the Planners of changes and reasons

Ensure that necessary instruments, materials and equipment are available

Developdaily work schedules and coordinates with Operations

Provide input on maintenance backlog priorities and any contributing causal factors

Ensure the prompt assignment of appropriate maintenance resources

Set expectations for job duration and completion

Review safety requirements and discusses potential hazards that may exist

Make every effort to prevent delays as well as follows up on overruns and interruptions

Inspect work areas for safety (bothenvironmentaland Personal Protective Equipment [PPE])

Ensure that all housekeeping is performed according to the Area Housekeeping Plan

Evaluate emergency work andchoosethe correct level ofresponserequired

Accurate reporting of time and materials, job completions, feedback of proper maintenance history and corrective actions

Responsiblefor the maintenance and submission of employees' time records and vacation requests

Responsiblefor the enforcement of all site rules and regulations (including attendance)

Administer all safety initiatives in area

Order maintenance supplies asrequired

Activemember of Confined Space Rescue, Hazardous Material and Fire Team Training

Maintain current training asneededand ensure area complies with all training requirements

Ensure all permitting is correctly issued forsafe, effective completion of maintenance activity

Handle first step grievances among hourly employees



AS Electrical Technology degree with 5+ years experience in Electrical and Instrument Plant Maintenance in chemical, pulp and paper, refinery, or related industries.

Requires prior supervisory experience in a related industry

Must have solid technical background in troubleshooting, maintenance/ reliability of electrical, power distribution, and instrumentation equipment

Well-developedleadershipskills in a professionalenvironment (communication, activelistening)

Familiarity with computer software i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SAP experience a plus

Continuous improvement andreliabilityexperience preferred

Able to work in the USA without sponsorship, now or in the future
