Pricing Manager

Job description:

We are assisting a client in a search for a Pricing Manager. Our client is a profitable chemical manufacturer with 7 plants located in CA, WA, Arizona and Texas. This newly created position will be located in the corporate headquarters located in Santa Clarita CA. This person will be responsible for analyzing company pricing while evaluating and staying current with competitors and industry trends. Will develop strategies for pricing to improve sales. This Pricing Manager will work closely with a cross functional team to design, build and roll out products to deliver the company's vision and strategy. Work with internal PR, product managers and executives to drive new product launches. Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding. Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.

Qualifications:

3 + experience in product management or as pricing analyst in a manufacturing environment (preferably in chemical manufacturing)

Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management

Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience web technologies

Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering or equivalent preferred
