Responsibilities:

--Provide electrical engineering expertise for the major electrical equipment at the site.

--Troubleshoot major electrical issues & provide technical support to the operations & maintenance teams as required.

--Lead or participate on teams to upgrade electrical equipment ranging from incremental improvements to major technology changes.

--Execute the change management processes for improvements in equipment and control (Process change requests, Change of design, etc.).

--Ensure / support that adequate process related equipment maintenance systems and programs are in place and that such programs are operated in a safe and efficient manner and meet or exceed all regulatory requirements

--Lead or take part in cross-functional teams, e.g. Reliability Centered Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis and Six Sigma Teams, Investigations, or Equipment Improvement Teams.

--Develop and manage reliability program for electrical equipment, including specific work procedures, preventative and predictive maintenance programs

--Support, develop and implement strategies for improving instrumentation and process monitoring equipment reliability.

--Analyze and drive utility usage & cost savings programs.



Qualifications:


Education and Experience:

--Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Electrical discipline preferred) or relevant experience.

--10 years of relevant experience in maintenance, engineering, reliability, and controls systems.
