Great opportunity to strategically lead the Electrical Reliability and Infrastructure Improvement programs for a multi-site global chemical leader. The Sr. Electrical Reliability Leader will be responsible for driving the electrical (mechanical) integrity and process safety programs to meet NEC and PSM compliance, corporate process safety policies, work processes and standards.
Responsibilities:
--Develop and implement a renewed company-wide Electrical Reliability Program
--Lead the implementation of Electrical PM strategies and Electrical MI programs
--Support electrical infrastructure testing and inspection work during Turnarounds at the sites.
--Provide troubleshooting support for electrical failure events include follow up analysis.
--Develop solutions for repetitive electrical failures that affect plant safety and reliability.
--Manage the development and implementation of electrical safety standards and programs.
--Perform internal audits of the site's electrical safety and reliability programs.
--Analyze maintenance and reliability work practices to identify performance drivers.
--Work collaboratively with maintenance leadership on the design/re-engineering of existing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness within established technical standards.
--Facilitate cross-site virtual meetings with managers, engineers, contractors, and maintenance teams.
Education and Experience:
-- BS Electrical Engineering Degree with 10+ years in Electrical/ Reliability Engineering experience with 5+ years as Technical Manager in PSM regulated plants; chemical, petrochemical or refining facilities.
-- Department management experience in Electrical/ Power Distribution Teams (5+ years)
-- Knowledge of electrical regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NEC, IEEE, NFPA standards.
-- Knowledge of chemical industry and company standards, applicable regulatory codes and requirements.
-- Ability to utilize and drive teamwork throughout the organization.
-- Requires ability to work in U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
