Job description: Job DescriptionProvides leadership for all maintenance /reliability activities focused on improving the performance of the plant. Supports plant goals for process safety, environmental performance, quality, productivity, and cost through data-driven application of maintenance resources.Day to Day support (85%)Effectively assigns daily maintenance resources to maintain plant and minimize downtime, ensures completion of all planned work with minimal overtime or rework.Manages maintenance team performance through PMP and regular feedback/communication to maximize effectiveness; ensures team receives training and development in key areas.Partners with Operations and Process Technical Departments to ensure plant priorities are met, respecting the budget and production planning.Provide technical support for specification, identification and purchasing of needed parts and work packages.Manages contractor program to ensure safety and work performed meets requirements of plant policiesManages all infrastructure capital project activity according to the Stage-Gate process and ensures installations are following applicable codes and compliance.Develops and implements preventive maintenance procedures; ensures MI and PM standards and procedures are followed.Ensures repair procedures, and equipment specific training are documented and followed.Oversee plant reliability for long-term production optimization while continuously reducing cost through improved equipment operation, maintenance, and upgrades.Abides by terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and properly responds to grievancesEnsure timely completion of investigations and completion of actions generated from HES programs.Participates in Management of Change process; ensures NOC and PSSR compliance.Participates as Team member of Capital ProjectsServes as plant Energy Leader for site optimizationAdministrative (15%)Develops and manages maintenance and assigned capital budgets (annual and 3-5 yr. plans) within company guidelinesDrives continuous improvement of maintenance department using appropriate KPIsMaintains accurate KRONOS information for payrollServes as Site Key Control coordinator Qualifications: Required Education/Qualifications/Work Experience:BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering8-10 years of progressively responsible experience in plant maintenance and reliability management.Extensive knowledge of mechanical Integrity and reliability with MI inspector certification highly desiredDemonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of direct and/or indirect reports.Six sigma certification and/or experience in Lean Six Sigma Operational Excellence implementation preferredAdvanced MS Office Skills; SAP experience desired.Excellent communications and organizational skillsProject management skills - Stage Gate Project Development process Why is This a Great Opportunity: Global Chemicals Company - Offers competitive salary packages and career growth opportunity.
