About the role
Working in a close-knit team, reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will also have direct access to the Managing Director. Planning and administering subdivisional projects on time and within budget. Attending site meetings and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders an exciting diverse end to end opportunity that doesnt present often.
Duties
- Gathering & analysis of information about projects undertaken
- Ensure work undertaken by consultants is progressing in a timely manner
- Assist the project team with program costs, develop budget plans & monitor ongoing costs
- Request quotations
- Review legislation changes applicable to development works & provide advice
- Assist Project Manager with verification of progress reports, variations & invoices
- Document and monitor progress of construction work and report on progress, ensuring timelines and schedules for projects & targets are met
- Attendance of pre-start meetings & regular site visits
- Assist with the planning & coordination of construction works
- Active involvement in estate planning, material change of use (MCU) & reconfigure of lot (ROL) with assistance where necessary in order to achieve a positive outcome
- Ensure quality performance of a program or project
Qualifications:
Skills & experience
We seek someone who can work with a range of people from contractors and site crew to senior management, councils, consultants, and service providers. You will be a closer comfortable negotiating and resolving issues to a resolution. Specifically, you will possess
- Experience in residential land development & subdivisions
- Background in Town Planning, Civil Design, Construction, Estimating
- Tertiary qualifications (degree or certification) & / or relevant experience
- Knowledge of local government planning schemes
- Strong computer skills - AutoCAD & Microsoft suite
- Professional verbal & written communication skills
- Time management, managing multiple issues concurrently
- Financial acumen ability to manage finances & understand the bigger picture
- White card accreditation or willingness to obtain
- C class drivers licence
