Responsible for providing leadership, direction and oversight on behalf of the company. Leads, directs, manages and coordinates activities the company and its subsidiaries, which include US Small Business Administration 8(a) companies. Formulates and developslong range goals and objectives, and ensures they are met. Administers, interprets, and explains policies, rules, regulations and laws to company officials to ensure administrative and operational objectives are met. Responsible for business development to include identification of potential new business and coordination of the bid and proposal preparation process. Leads successful performance of construction contracts awarded to subsidiaries within the company.Has the ability to research, interpret and analyze Federal and State proposals to include FAR; CAS; SCA; DBA. with minimal oversight. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years as a senior manager in construction industry, with the responsibilities of operations management, purchasing, inventory control, production control, personnel management, quality control, Safety management, and engineering oversight.
  • Experience in government contracting preferred.
  • Sound administrative skills, well-developed management skills-principles and people.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth.
  • Demonstrated experience performing technical writing including developing sealed bids in response to Invitation(s) for Bid and business & technical proposals in response to Request(s) for Proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving, negotiating, and litigating contract disputes.
  • Experience in program development, project management and administering quality assurance programs.
  • Experience working in diverse geographical locations, both nationally and internationally.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain successful relationship between large corporations, sub-contractors and the organization.
  • Strong computer and analytical skills.
  • Able to obtain and maintain required US government security clearances
