Jobtitle: Senior Business Development Manager FinTech

Jobholder reports to: VP Sales

Location: California, US

Our client is a global outsourcing company, specialising in designing and engineering software for the likes of Facebook, Google, Blackberry and other leading brands.

This opportunity is to start in the US as the anchor role for the first FinTech sales person out of the US - ideally but not limited to California. Being first person on the ground in

FinTech means lots of opportunity to move into a leadership role quickly with success in sales.

Main objectives/responsibilities of the role (short description)

To generate revenue with new clients (primary focus) and enhance

business with current clients (secondary focus) within Fintech / Financial

Services. (65% new business, the rest in account farming)

Tasks of the role (short description)

Research and identify business opportunities to generate new leads

Drive with both internal teams (lead Gen, pre-sales, Delivery, legal,

Finance teams etc.) as well as client teams until deal closure across

USA

Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients, connect

face2face or over the phone

Proven Knowledge of various sales methodologies and processes

Profound market insights with FS/ Fintech (domain) and IT (SW&

Services)

Travel ready as needed

Qualifications:

Requirements / Experience

New business sales executive from an IT Services Background (not a

product sales background)

The candidates should have a demonstrable track record of originating

and closing offshore/nearshore Digital transformation/ SW dev/ IT

Services deals.

Candidates must understand the concepts behind Agile & Digital. Should

have sold full life cycle of software development

Around 8-10 or more years of international sales experience with

customers from the financial industry (preferably FinTech)

Candidates must have demonstrable sales figures and a record of

overachieving sales targets and ideally have been with their

organization for few years.
