In this Production Manager role, you will collaborate closely with senior plant leadership to oversee and guide the daily operations of an assigned business unit in a large union high-speed food & beverage production environment. Your responsibilities will include optimizing the use of equipment, facilities, and personnel to achieve peak efficiency and meet performance targets, all while upholding rigorous standards for product quality and customer satisfaction. You will also take the lead in mentoring, coaching, and providing guidance to multiple team leaders and supervisors on an ongoing basis. Your role reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Role Overview:

  • Lead and manage daily operations within a high-speed production environment.
  • Drive a safety-focused culture and implement continuous improvement practices.
  • Coordinate business unit activities for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
  • Report directly to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Business Management/Food Science or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Preferred experience in dairy/food/beverage manufacturing.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex problems.
  • Exceptional time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative team player willing to support flexible schedules.
