Our client, a consumer electronics company is looking for a Development Team Lead to join their team in Niagara Falls, Ontario. This is a great opportunity to join a growing dynamic team who thinks outside the box. The Development Team Lead reports directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for overseeing the development team and designing and implementing new ERP system solutions.
- Leading the development team to achieve corporate and department goals, identifying skill gaps and providing training and development
- Providing automation and optimization solutions to improve customer and team member experience
- Overseeing department budget
- Establishing a strategy for coding standards ad reviewing the teams performance
- Overseeing customization and integration within the ERP system, e-commerce platform, integration software, etc.
- Leading the implementation of new ERP solutions and creating customized business processes
- Developing and performing testing plans for troubleshooting software systems issues and providing internal maintenance
- Leading new development projects while maintaining project schedule and providing communication on updates and status of tasks
Qualifications:
The Ideal Candidate:
- Post-secondary education in IT
- Minimum 6 years experience
- Experience administrating an ERP system
- Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Git, Python and Java
- Strong capabilities with all Microsoft software applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
- Exceptional organization, time management and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Complimentary Experience:
- Experience with NetSuite, Magento, Dell Boomi and Celigo Integrator
- Previous experience in a e-commerce environment
