Principal/Senior Electrical Engineering Professional

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineering Professional with extensive technical expertise to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a key technical leader, providing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges and offering technical guidance to project teams across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and guide the engineering team during the development and design phases, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
Conduct research on cutting-edge technologies and industry trends, driving new product development initiatives and executing research projects in support of our product roadmap.
Play a critical role in diverse projects, acting as a mentor to design engineers, and resolving technical issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Ensure successful product implementation and resolution of post-launch issues, addressing challenging technical questions that impact the business.
Oversee prototype generation, evaluating design functionality, performance, and reliability.
Provide accurate cost estimations for development, unit, and tooling requirements.
Ensure compliance with product specifications, reviewing technical evaluations and testing results.
Communicate testing outcomes and necessary corrective actions, ensuring adherence to the corrective action plan.

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, specialized in the candidate's primary technical discipline.
Minimum of 10 years' engineering experience with expertise in one or more technical areas and advanced design knowledge in product development.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Proven track record as a technical expert and leader, driving successful development and design of profitable products.
Strong project management skills, from concept to evaluation, with the ability to motivate and guide engineers across various business units.
Expert proficiency in engineering relevant products or process development processes.
Demonstrated success in overcoming technical challenges and delivering results.
Highly organized with the ability to present complex technical and project management overviews effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, fostering strong relationships both internally and externally.
Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
