Technical Sales Manager - Medical Devices
OVERVIEW

Using their B2B sales experience/knowledge, the Technical Sales Manager will target, develop, and close OEM projects related to the company's medical device products. We are looking for someone with great follow-up and communication skills. The Technical Sales Manager will need to develop extensive product knowledge in order to tell the story of the company as well as outline the specific innovations and problem solving capabilities to the end user. The Technical Sales Manager should also have the ability to source new opportunities, creating a new mix of medium and large sized customers. This is a base plus commission position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exceed annual budgeted sales target.
  • Target multiple industries (drug delivery, orthopedic, wound care) and deliver several pitches per month.
  • Manage and grow existing customers/accounts.
  • Use Salesforce CRM software to actively manager current and prospective accounts.
  • Create monthly travel plans within the travel budget.
  • Manager relationships with ancillary support (project managers, R&D, buyers) at target accounts and customers
Qualifications:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

- Creative thinker with ability to solver customer needs in technical products.
- Familiarity with FDA requirements.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to delivery technical presentations to all levels of clients (Management, Marketing, R&D)

REQUIREMENTS

- 4-year college degree (Bachelors) in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field

- 5+ years sales experience in same or related field
