Job description: SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Sustainability Engineer in
North Andover, MA who will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary
team to deploy a formal product sustainability program. The Product
Sustainability Engineer will work with Product Development; Marketing;
Supply Chain; the broader customer population; and the Executive team to
deploy and execute product development strategies across.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- This is an individual contributory role who will train, consult, and
collaborate with engineers on how to interface with customers on a
variety of products, as well as customer facing.

- The primary function of this role is conduct and manage projects on
a variety of products related to environmental Life Cycle
Assessments (LCA), with a focus on creating products and solutions
that improve the health and safety of customers, while advancing
their sustainability objectives.

- Create LCA models; develop methodologies to measure, report and
improve product sustainability metrics; and manage data inventories

- Analysis of harmful substances, recycled content in products,
extension of useful life, disposal, eco/green product
certifications, and other circular modalities

- Writing ISO 14040/44 & GRI compliant reports documenting your
project work

- Support product development, engineering, supply chain, and
manufacturing and distribution sites to define and execute their
product sustainability strategies

- Develop and implement product sustainability targets across the
organization; audit and assess maturity across product platforms

- Monitor industry best practices in product sustainability analyses

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline

- Must have robust knowledge of climate science, circular economy,
regenerative design

- 5-10 years of relevant experience in working in Product
Sustainability Engineering

- Experience in environmental Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

- Communicate internally and externally on product sustainability
program success to instill expectations and engagement by employees
and customers

- Technical skills: BREEAM, LEED & ISO14040/44, GRI, REACH, ROHS.

- Experience in Product Development, Logistics & Supply Chain
Sustainability

- Demonstrated Program Management skills

- Ability to travel up to 25-50%
