Your expertise and areas of interest may be applied on one or more programs, providing you new opportunities to learn and grow.

IIn this position you will work with an experienced multi-disciplinary team to develop next generation motion control solutions for military applications.

Your role will be to design, implement, and test the hardware and software components of these motion control solutions. Specifically, you will:

Perform control system analysis by developing plant models, selecting control algorithms, implementing simulations of control loops, and optimizing system response.
Perform kinematic / inverse kinematic and mechanism motion profile analysis to support mechanical system design.
Select and integrate COTS control system components including motors, actuators, motor controllers, power system components, embedded computing hardware, and real time networks / busses.
Integrate real-time computer vision solutions into the control architecture for performance and safety verification.
Support product assembly and test in a laboratory environment.
Support product field testing by traveling at least twice a year for 2 weeks at a time.

Qualifications:

Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
5-7 years with BS
3-5 years with MS
0-2 years with PhD
U.S. Citizenship
