Our client is a growing firm located in the Oakland area that is currently looking to bring on a Senior Accountant on a full-time basis!

- Work closely with the Accounting Manager/CFO to assure adherence to company policy and proper expense and revenue recording for management reports and financial statements.
- Initiate and implement process improvements to increase team productivity and accuracy, upon concurrence with stakeholders.
- Review and approve Vendor Commission Reports and journal entries as assigned.
- Prepare & Monitor Bank Reconciliations, and other reconciliations as assigned.
- Oversee reconciliations for all accrual accounts, including Bill Payment Services
- Cash support functions - tracking, communications, and entry / posting support
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or similar work experience
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure on-time deliverables
- Strong attention to detail, high analysis skills andthe ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment without direct supervision.
