Regional Sales Manager - Lighting - West Coast

We have been contracted by an innovative manufacturer of energy-efficient lighting solutions for commercial and industrial applications, including lighting systems, controls, and other related technologies.

We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to implement sales strategy and grow profitability in the Western United States. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented, possesses excellent analytical abilities, and has an eye for detail. You'll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally throughout the organization and interface with external partners and customers to ensure sales goals are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Build an annual strategic market penetration plan, outlining clear objectives for growth targets
  • Increase revenue by engaging contractors, ESCOs, and end users through joint sales calls, training, meetings, webinars, conference calls, trade shows, etc.
  • Motivate, train, and manage agents to achieve the region's stated objectives, including implementing selling initiatives and coordinating agent replacements for under-performance
  • Implement sales strategy and achieve sales goals for the region by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, planning efficient use of time in the region, and managing expenditures

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent years of education and/or experience preferred
  • Strongly prefer experience in the Lighting Industry with working knowledge of the Lighting Sales Representative Network and Electrical Industry
  • Expert client interfacing and customer-focused approach; ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Experienced ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload, develop, and manage pipeline and forecasting
