Steel Detailer - Saskatchewan

Job description:

* Responsible for all shop detailing while working alongside Project Managers and Estimators

* Provide shop with drawings, cut sheets, and provide inputs for beam line and plasma table

* Review and interpret drawings from contractors and clients

* Use Inventor & Autocad to develop layout, drawings, and designs that meet project expectations and specifications

* Proper file maintenance on all assigned projects

* Occasional site visits for field measurements as required

* Nest part files on ProNest software

* Provide nc1 files to PythonX Beam Line using CMS

* Provide cut sheets / BOMs to fabrication and machine shop

* Prepare drawing packages for customers or subcontractors as needed

* Other duties as may be required

Qualifications:

* Post-secondary education would be an asset

* Previous work experience in a detailing role working with mechanical and structural metals
* Proficiency in Inventor & Autocad software
* Proficiency in Microsoft 360
* Solid knowledge of fabrication industry standards and detailing practices
* Available to visit customer sites for field measurements on occasion (same day / regional)
