Manager of Human Resources - ON-SITE
(NOTE: THIS is not a hybrid or remote role)

Responsibilities include:
Formulates partnering attitudes and supports the HR functions ( not limited to payroll, benefits, recruitment activities, etc).
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
Provides hands-on HR Generalist activities
Provide counseling on policies and procedures
Works closely with plant management and employees to improve engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness aimed at driving stronger business performance. Facilitates employee development activities for the site in an individual and/or group setting.
Provides management of disciplinary and grievance/employee relations issues
Maintain knowledge of and compliance with legislation and regulations affecting human resources functions.
Organizes, tracks, maintains and improves HR records generation, administration and retention.
Conduct ongoing communication to ensure employee engagement and morale.
Coach supervisors and managers on appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Responsible to ensure all company policies and procedures are administered fairly and consistently.
Maintains strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
Experience in a HR Generalist role required, payroll and benefits experience required.
Knowledge of HR functions (payroll & benefits, recruitment, training & development ,employee relations, generalist activities etc.)
Bachelors Degree from accredited college/university
Min 5 years of HR generalist experience
Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented, with the ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to negotiate and/or mediate when required
Must have critical thinking and decision-making abilities
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
Strong ethics and reliability
BS/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field
Professional HR Credentials (i.e. PHR , SPHR, etc) from the HR Certification Institute) desired
Strong work ethic, resiliant, informative and influential.
Able to talk on the phone easily as well as interact face-to-face.
