Our client is a leading Australian pallet racking and storage solutions organization, on a fast growth trajectory. Our client is the notable market leader Australia-wide and who have expanded their operations to a newly purpose-built facility in Truganina canvassing 10,000 SQM to accommodate over 60,000 pallet locations of local stock. This will allow our client to further service their Australian customers and facilitate the growth of the business via their new Robotics division.

Reporting to the Design Lead as well as a dotted line to the GM of Design & Engineering the Structural Design Engineer will perform critical duties in design calculations, specifications, estimating, FEA, costing within their tight knit design team of 5. This role is a critical step in their progression as a business. Youll possess strong experience (5+ years) in steel / thin Wall structural design.

As well as successfully working and interacting with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other stakeholders at multi-levels of responsibility, youll be performing your work with AutoCAD against Structural Systems and components based on design, loads, codes, and Australian Certified Standards. Youll be engaged at various stages of the project process; that being pre-sale design, costing, estimating, specifications and most importantly certifying designs and structures. Qualifications:

You will be required to sign off on designs and structures, and as such, will be required to be registered as a Professional Engineer with the relevant state authority.
