Newly created role for Strategic Sourcing Manager, to work closely with VP and Supply Chain Directors to develop and grow suppliers in North America for newly created products in hardgoods
This is definitely a STRATEGIC role - create and implement plans for growing new supplier base in North America.
Work closely with Executive Management, New Product Development, Procurement Teams and Supply Chain Leadership to ensure delivery of innovation to accomplish goals in product design, delivery, quality and lower costs with ultimate goal to improve customer satisfaction.
BE the bridge between Procurement Supply Chain, Engineering and Executive Leadership. Very visible role with upward career opportunities in Operations or Supply chain the backbone of this company which has tripled in size and doing over $1B in sales while remaining a lean, agile organization.
Qualifications:
- Sourcing experience in hardgoods including mechanical, electronic and electro-mechanical components from North America
- Successful track record working closely with Product Managers and NPI Engineering finding new suppliers as they move away from Asia
- Ability to lead diverse teams to develop innovative ideas and implement them.
- BS/BA with MBA preferred in Supply Chain or Logistics or Engineering or Business.
