Key Account Manager - FMCG - Bakery Products
- Package - circa $150K plus super and Company Vehicle
- Looking after one of the largest retailers in Australia
- Autonomous role with great support

The Company
Our client is a market leader in this FMCG segment, delivering innovative fresh bakery products to the retail, food service, grocery and convenience market. We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to drive performance, profitability and quality across the Woolworths Account.

The Opportunity
This criticalKey Account Manager role goes beyond traditional account management. Development and execution of the Companys sales strategy; the identification of new product development (NPD) opportunities and the success of their commercialisation make the normal sophisticated key account management relationships even more satisfying.

Key responsibilities include:- New business development
- Identification, realisation and delivery of new products to market
- Managing pricing and achieving volume targets
- Analysing data, developing and presenting insights to customers and internally
- Planning and budgets
- Alignment of sales, marketing and innovation activities

The Successful Key account Manager
The successful key account manager will have a demonstrated track record of success when working with major grocery customers and independents.


Skills/experience will include- Have ideally managed the Coles or Woolworths accounts
- The ability to demonstrate and deliver a sophisticated sales process
- High levels of financial numeracy with a particular focus on the balance between volume and margin
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level presentation skills
- An internally and externally focused collaborative style
- Commercial presence
