Utilities & Powerhouse Manager/Chief Engineer is most senior responsible person for the operation, maintenance and repair of building systems equipment and facilities in order to provide highly reliable utility support to all industrial processes and facility requirements. Equipment includes HVAC, boilers, chillers, steam turbines and engines, gas compression systems, air compressors and purified water systems, and associated mechanical and electrical systems in power generation. This position has direct supervisory and managerial responsibility of all onsite Operating Engineers.Qualifications:
Valid Ontario - 1st Class Operating Engineer's license. Minimum 2 years' work experience as a 1st class Operating engineer and/or 5 years' experience as a 2nd Class Operating Engineer.
3 - 5 years' experience managing and executing capital projects within a large facility. 3 - 5 years' supervisory experience.
Strong background in wastewater treatment facilities; knowledge of municipal water treatment facilities. Knowledge of chemical systems (ammonia and chlorine).Why is This a Great Opportunity:
