Software Developer - ON SITE

Job description:

Well-established Syracuse, NY company currently searching for a [Register to View] ServerDeveloper to join development team.

This role is responsible for new development along with support/enhancement of existing solutions built on [Register to View] / SQL Server multi-tier framework. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute at various stages of the software development life cycle to a wide variety of data-centric projects.

This position is a 100% on-site position (not remote) and is FULL TIME with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Build interactive solutions with MS Visual Studio utilizing the [Register to View] programming language and Infragistics user interface controls
• Develop SQL procedures, triggers, and views (Microsoft SQL Server)
• Build user reports using SQL Server Reporting Services
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and remediate data-related issues
• Support existing systems - proactively manage and maintain multiple systems to ensure performance and availability
• Work independently on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions
• Work directly with users to document requirements for new functionality as well as support existing systems

Qualifications:

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in [Register to View] with emphasis on user interface design and heavy database integration
• Advanced T-SQL Scripting
• Prior experience developing scalable enterprise software solutions
• Proven analytical problem solving and debugging skills
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Additional Beneficial Skills/Experience

• Experience with SQL Integration Services and Analysis Services
• Experience with MCL-Designer development toolset for mobile devices
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar accounting software
• Experience with inventory and warehouse management software
