Top client in need of a Mobile X-Ray Tech in PDX

A Mobile Radiologic (X-Ray) Technician's job involves performing a variety of tasks, ranging from basic x-ray exams to more challenging imaging techniques. The technician must have an extensive understanding and expertise in the operation of all types of radiographic equipment, making sure to adjust settings as needed for each procedure or patient needs.

The X-Ray technician must also have excellent interpersonal skills, as they will often be interacting with patients in facility or homebased environment. They should always practice safe radiation hygiene and adhere strictly to safety protocols to ensure that both themselves and the patient remain protected during all examinations. The X-Ray technician must also keep accurate records of patient information, images, and any other relevant data.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand medical terminology and physician orders
Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Valid and unencumbered Radiologic Technician license in Washington and Oregon
Valid Driver's License in good standing

Preferred Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

Operational experience of SR115 and SR130 x-ray machines with DR unit
Demonstrable proficiency in healthcare industry terminology and systems.
