Our client is a leader in the ultrasound diagnostic device field, working in human and small animal diagnostics and research.

They are looking for someone experience in analog and digital circuit design to join their R&D team. You will be developing electronics modules. This will involve specifications, prototypes, testing, verification, and release of product. Background in electronics design, such as integrated circuits, digital circuit design, and signal integrity testing. Reports to a Program Manager.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design / develop electrical boards and related subsystems and firmware for ultrasound machines.
  • *****Must have worked on electronic circuit design.
  • Actual experience in developing complex PCB designs.
  • Analog and digital circuit design essential.
  • Schematics to allow one to follow board through production and testing.
  • Boards must comply with overall system requirements,
  • Set up standard interfaces for software.
  • Aim for designs that work well, are easy to produce, and low cost.
  • Set up and test prototypes.
  • Work with engineers, QA, manufacturing, as well as vendors, users, customers to achieve product goals.

Qualifications:

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS Electrical Engineering / B. Eng. or equivalent.
  • *****Min 3 - 5 years in Analog and Digital Signal Processing design.
  • *****Must have worked on electronic circuit design.
  • experience with high-speed signals when designing electronics.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Essential skills - electronics design, such as analog and digital circuit design, integrated circuits, signal integrity testing.
  • Set up standard interfaces for software.
  • Analog and Digital hardware developer.
  • FPGA components and vendors background.
  • Must understand analog & digital signal processing and principles of system analysis.
  • ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 quality.
  • Electrical circuit schematic design.
  • Programming languages: VHDL, Verilog, Python, C++, MS Office.

ASSETS:

  • Ultrasound / medical imaging systems / imaging applications.
  • Mixed signal and power supply design, FPGA.
  • Printed circuit board layout experience
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communications and team player skills
