Physical Therapist (PT) - Full time

Job description:

• Helps patient(s) accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic activities by administering manual physical exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities as well as in applying assistive and supportive quality care.
• PT will assess and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation by physician(s).
• PT will document patient care services by charting in patient and department records in compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

• Follow Up for as the patient continues to meet eligibility requirements for home health services Medicare does not stipulate a limit on how many episodes are allowed for any home health benefit including maintenance therapy

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Physical TherapyProgram.

1 year of home health experienceas a physical therapist

Candidates must possess strong caringinterpersonal skills
