In this role you will work with another QA Software Support Analyst performing QA Software testing and support for various company software applications. Testing may be manual or automated. Client is ideally looking for individual with exposure to software testing with an aptitude and interest to grow into other areas like SSRS / SQL reporting.
Open to recent graduates with education and/or exposure to databases and/or software support and/or quality assurance testing.

**Due to the nature of this role, working hours are 7 AM - 4 PM with one hour lunch. Flexibility to start as early as 6 AM.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Perform operational tasks on a daily / weekly / monthly schedule
  • Respond to help desk inquiries via phone and e-mail
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with IT Manager to develop effective strategies
  • Work with other team members to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with business units and developers to write test plans
  • Perform user acceptance and post-implementation testing
  • Analyze and document test results
  • May assist in companywide system upgrade, as needed
  • Documents new processes and procedures as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Proven experience as a QA tester or IT Support role
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Great personality with passion for learning and collaboration
  • Working knowledge of SQL and SSRS a big plus but not required
