(Archived) Diesel Fitter/Tradesperson

Job description:

Our client of many years and many placements are seeking a

Diesel Fitter/Tradesperson

to join their team. This is a permanent full-time role working four days a week (Mon-Thurs
or Tues-Fri) with overtime also on offer. Reporting to the Workshop
supervisor, this role will also mentor apprentices as they become
tradespeople. You will be surrounded and supported by some of the best in the
business, as part of a team that values hard work but also enjoy their time
together.

Key responsibilities for this role include working on heavy vehicles, mobile
plant and other equipment alongside the varied trades people and trade
assistants in our workshop.

The successful applicant will possess the following:

* Mechanical trade Certificate 3, Heavy Diesel preferred;
* Experience in maintaining underground diesel equipment preferred but not essential;
* Ex DES qualification highly regarded;
* Positive, proactive approach to safety;
* Commitment to working as part of a team;
* Strong work ethic and a commitment to customer service.
