Job Title: PE Structural Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX
Our client, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a talented and experienced PE Structural Engineer to join their team in Dallas, TX. The successful candidate will have experience working on residential, multifamily, and/or commercial projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and analyze structural systems and components for residential, multifamily, and commercial projects
Prepare structural calculations and drawings
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other design professionals to ensure project success
Review and approve construction shop drawings and submittals
Perform site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and construction standards
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers
Manage project schedules and budgets
Attend project meetings and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of project deliverables
Requirements:

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
Active PE license in the state of Texas
3+ years of experience in structural design for residential, multifamily, and/or commercial projects
Proficiency in structural design software such as RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, ETABS, and/or SAFE
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE, and ACI
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
LEED Accreditation or other sustainability-related certification
Experience with BIM software such as Revit and AutoCAD
