Our client is a leading NFP organisation that provides social housing, affordable housing and key worker housing, with a vision to connect people and improve their quality of life.A new opportunity has arisen for a senior legal counsel to join the team. Working closely with the head of legal, this is a pivotal role that will see you provide commercial advice across the business.
Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice across the organisation to support various operations including; property development, asset and portfolio management, tenancy and dispute matters, general commercial agreements, commercial leasing, privacy, compliance and assist other corporate functions as required. Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of legal documents (contracts, notices and correspondence), including identifying, assessing and developing solutions to manage legal and commercial risk. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and legislative obligations. Provide legal support to the privacy officer and the company secretarial and governance functions Candidate:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7+ years PAE gained within a reputable private practice or in-house environment, with experience in commercial law. You will be an excellent communicator with strong drafting skills and the ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
