This position is onsite located in Auburn, NY

The Associate Mechanical Engineer is responsible to develop, document, and implement new products, engineering designs, and engineering processes and procedures. Provide support to customers, potential customers and departments in the planning and implementation of a variety of engineering projects and developments. Help support the sales team with quotes and technical support. Provide support to the CNC machining operation.

Responsibilities

50% - Provide engineering support on new product development, engineering projects, design improvements, and other R&D developments including materials, and processes.

25% - Provide technical support to sales and marketing

25% - Provide technical support to manufacturing and CNC machining

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Mechanical or design engineering required
• 3 years engineering design and manufacturing support experience
• Proficient using AutoCAD/3D design, Solidworks, Excel and Word
• MasterCAM experience a plus
• Composites manufacturing and design experience a plus
